Meet Your Crew
Hi, we’re Chris and Karen—sailors, explorers, and lifelong lovers of the sea. We call Westport, Massachusetts home, where our adventures begin, and where we love welcoming guests aboard to share in the magic of sailing.
Our passion for life on the water has taken us around the world, especially to the British Virgin Islands, where we’ve bareboat chartered nearly a dozen times (our 12th voyage is set for 2025!). From sunrise sails to sunset surf sessions, the ocean is where we feel most alive.
Chris is a skilled builder and contractor who’s crafted countless homes, and Karen is the founder of two thriving retail shops in Providence, RI—Queen of Hearts and Modern Love—creative hubs she's nurtured for over 18 years.
Joining us on most of our sails is our first mate, Brayton (aka Pepé)—our lovable dog who’s happiest with the wind in his fur and salt air on his nose.
We created this sailing experience to share the joy, peace, and thrill that the ocean gives us. Whether you're celebrating something special or just need to breathe deep and disconnect, we can’t wait to welcome you aboard.

What We Sail
Our sailing story began in 2014 when we bought our first boat, a Newport 30' sloop we lovingly named Windrush. She carried us through countless adventures and unforgettable memories.
After years of sailing her up and down the coast, we found ourselves dreaming of something with a little more space and comfort.
In 2024, that dream became reality when we found Rocksteady—a beautifully crafted Gozzard 36, with an overall length of 42'. She was lovingly maintained by her original owner (we’re now proud to be her second), and the craftsmanship that went into building her truly sets her apart. We fell in love instantly.
Rocksteady is more than just a sailboat—she’s our home away from home, our floating escape, and the heart of every charter we share. We can’t wait for you to experience her too.
